Join the Scottish Terrier Club of the Piedmont for Fast CAT, a timed 100-yard dash where a dog chases a lure, at the Brylin Obedience Specialty School in King, NC (BOSS).
THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL BREEDS!
Fast Cat is the newest AKC event. It is a fun and healthy activity for dogs and their owners, and is open to dogs that are at least 12 months of age and are individually registered or listed with the AKC.
There will be 2 fast-coursing ability tests on this day. It is a Rolling Roll-Call - you can arrive at any time, sign up and run. You can also run the second event 30 minutes after running the first event. Events start at 9AM. The grounds will be available at 8AM.
Early acceptance for members of the field committee may begin one-half hour prior to these times.
The STCP will give a light blue ribbon for a passing run. Awards will be given at 11:30am for Event 1. Awards will be given for Event 2 at 1:30pm .
SAME DAY REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE .
Dogs must be one year of age or older on the day of the test. Each dog requires an individual entry form for each event in which it is entered. Dogs must have an AKC, PAL or Canine Partner registration number. https://www.akc.org/register/information/canine-partners/enroll/
